We are not a school or an umbrella school. We do not give grades, create transcripts, or keep records. We do link & post information on this website to help you do these things and have many veteran homeschoolers happy to answer your questions. Each family helps better our community through filling a needed role
Stella Maris utilizes Groupme to ask questions and share thoughts about homeschooling, make prayer requests, as well organize and publicize homeschool events. Our members have access to our online directory to help them plan activities, connect with nearby families, and find others using similar homeschooling methods.
In Person
Stella Maris families are eager to enrich each other’s homeschooling journey through sharing their time and talents. Members generously organize and invite our homeschooling community to their events. These take place throughout Middle Tennessee based on what is convenient for the organizer. We regularly see invites posted to our online calendar for Park Days, Mass & Play Meetups, Clubs, Game Nights, Field Trips, and more.

Stella Maris has put together this website with the goal to connect and equip Catholic Homeschoolers in Middle Tennessee. Members have shared resources they used for homeschooling, current state laws and requirements, curriculum options, and answers to frequently asked questions. We hope this website will be a blessing to you wherever you are in your homeschooling journey.
Stella Maris Membership is free and open to Catholic families currently homeschooling their children in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade or planning to begin homeschooling these grades in the next 6 months.
The link above will redirect you to our New Member Google Form. Please fill in all required info fields, which will be submitted to moderators for approval to the group. A moderator will contact you through email once you have filled in the entire form to welcome you and discuss any questions you may have before proceeding with the approval process. If you don’t hear back from us within three days, be sure to check your spam/junk folder in case our response email ended up there. Thanks!
